In 2006—2010. studied at the St. Petersburg College of Music. Mussorgsky. In 2015 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Rimsky-Korsakov and took part in The Festival of Young Artists Bayreuth. He has played with the Baroque Orchestra under the direction of Georgios Petru (2010), the Symphony Orchestra under the direction of maestro Karl Anton Rickenbacher (2012).
He graduated from the Summer Academy courses for young artists at the Bavarian Academy of Music in Marktoberdorf under the guidance of Professor Patrick Yudt. In 2012 and 2014. took part in the Animato Concert Tour. As a member of the Animato Philharmonic Orchestra he performed at the Mozarteum (Salzburg), the Konzerthaus (Berlin), the Sour cream in Prague. Took part in the Collegium Musicum festival in the Bavarian Weissenstein castle (2017). In 2019, he studied at the International Summer Academy of Stringed Instruments Suoni delle Madonie (Italy) with Professor Andrey Dogadin. In 2020, as a soloist, he performed with the I. A.R. Paulavichyus under the direction of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexei Vasiliev.
Since 2013 Evgeny Sokolov has been an artist of the St. Petersburg Capella Symphony Orchestra.
