Ilya Dinov

In 2002, he graduated from the Specialized Music School at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Rimsky-Korsakov in the class of I. P. Pimenova, in 2007 – the St. Petersburg Conservatory in the class of Professor A. M. Vavilina-Mravinskaya.

Already in his second year at the Conservatory, Ilya Dinov was admitted to the Symphony Orchestra of the Capella of St. Petersburg as a flute group regulator. Over the years of his work in the Capella Orchestra, he has performed many orchestral works, including the well-known solo flute parts: Suite No. 2 from the ballet Daphnis and Chloe by Ravel, Brahms’ First and Fourth Symphonies, Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphoses, A Summer’s Dream night “by Mendelssohn, music to the ballet” Petrushka “by Stravinsky and many others.

Ilya Dinov constantly takes part in solo and ensemble concerts held at various concert venues in St. Petersburg. Both as a member of the Capella Symphony Orchestra and as a member of various festival orchestras, he took part in touring concerts in Holland, Germany, Spain, France, China, Finland, and Malta. As a member of the Capella Orchestra, he performed at such prestigious stages as the Concertgebouw, the Konzerthaus (Berlin), the Beijing National Center for the Performing Arts, the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg State Philharmonic, etc. He took part in large-scale concerts of the Capella Orchestra in Dresden under the open sky on the square near the cathedral Frauenkirche.

Since 2016 he has been a flute teacher at the Children’s Music School No. 11 of the Vasileostrovsky District of St. Petersburg.
