Ivan Kuzmin

Was born in 1994 in Shlisselburg. At the age of 5 he began his studies at a music school, specializing in cello. He won prizes in regional, regional, regional and international competitions. After graduating from high school in 2010, he entered the St. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of K.V. Kucherov). During his studies, he played in the chamber orchestra of the school and in the youth symphony orchestra. A.R. Paulavichius under the direction of A.N.Vasiliev. After graduating from college, he entered military service in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Western Military District as an orchestra artist (cello).

After being retired in 2015, he worked in the IP Orchestra concert orchestra under the direction of Igor Ponomarenko. In 2017, he was an artist of the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra under the direction of People’s Artist of Russia Sergei Stadler, from November 2017 to March 2018 – an artist of the Symphony Orchestra of the State Philharmonic Society of St. Petersburg for Children and Youth under the direction of People’s Artist of Kabardino-Balkaria Mikhail Golikov.

Since March 2018, Ivan Kuzmin has been an artist of the St. Petersburg Capella Symphony Orchestra. Since 2017 – student of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after I. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of associate professor E. N. Pilipchuk).
