Konstantin Serdyuk

In 2002 he graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Rimsky-Korsakov in the bassoon class (teacher – Professor O. E. Talypina). Since 1998 – artist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Capella of St. Petersburg, concertmaster of the bassoon group.

Over the years, he has performed many orchestral works, including the famous bassoon solo parts in Tchaikovsky’s First, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Symphonies, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Sheherazade suite, the music of Stravinsky’s Petrushka and Firebird ballets, First, Third and Brahms’ Fourth Symphonies, Ravel’s Bolero, Shostakovich’s Fifth, Ninth and Tenth Symphonies, etc.

The musician regularly participates in master classes by leading German musicians as part of a joint project of the Capella of St. Petersburg and the Gart Charity Foundation “International Orchestral Institute”. He actively gives concerts at the venues of St. Petersburg and toured European countries as part of the bassoon quartet.

Konstantin Serdyuk is actively involved in teaching. In 2010—2015. worked as a senior teacher in the bassoon class at the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture, in 2011-2017. – teacher in the class of bassoon and contrabassoon at the St. Rimsky-Korsakov.
