Ilya Chirskov Graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory and graduated from the class of Professor Eduard Bazanov. He is a laureate of several Russian and international competitions, including the Second Open Festival-Competition of S.V. Rachmaninov (2001) and the International Piano Competition. M.V. Yudina (2003).

In 2003-2007. Ilya is a soloist of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society for Children and Youth.

In 2005 he was a guest soloist-pianist of the Mariinsky Theater (Igor Stravinsky’s ballet Les Noces). Repeatedly took part in ballet performances under the direction of the artistic director and chief conductor of the theater Valery Gergiev in Russia, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Finland.

From 2007 to the present – soloist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Capella of St. Petersburg.

He performed as a soloist and ensemble player in Great Britain, Austria, the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Slovenia. Collaborated with conductors: Valery Gergiev, Alexander Chernushenko, Jan Latham-Koenig, Vladimir Begletsov, Ilya Derbilov, Alexander Ivanov.

In 2018 he toured Mexico, where he gave two recitals at the Russian Embassy. In May 2019, Ilya Chirskov gave a concert at the Villa Senar – Rachmaninoff’s estate in Switzerland.

In September 2019, as a soloist, Ilya took part in the tour of the Britten-Shostakovich Festival Orchestra, whose concerts were held with great success in Russia and the UK. As part of this tour, performances took place on the stage of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society and in the best halls of the United Kingdom (London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Leeds, etc.).
