Pavel Serebryakov

He received his primary musical education at the Special Music School at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Rimsky-Korsakov. During his school years he took part in concerts in Russia and abroad. Graduated from the Conservatory in 1994. As a student, he collaborated with the St. Petersburg State Opera and Ballet Theater. Mussorgsky (the first oboe), conducted an active concert activity as a member of the quintet of wind instruments. In 1994 he became a laureate of the All-Russian competition (II prize + diploma).

Since 1992, he has worked in the State Hermitage Orchestra “St. Petersburg Camerata”, has toured and participated in many music festivals in Russia, Spain, Austria, France, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Japan. He collaborated with such musicians as I. Menuhin, V. Repin, V. Tretyakov, D. Hvorostovsky, A. Netrebko, B. Bonney, V. Gerello and others, and also recorded discs for Sony Classical. He has extensive experience in performing classical and chamber music of various eras and styles.

Since 2005, he worked at the ZKR Academic Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic under the direction of Y. Temirkanov and performed in the most famous concert halls in Russia, Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Japan, USA, France, Switzerland, China and many others countries, collaborated with many famous musicians of our time.

Since 2014 he has been working in the Symphony Orchestra of the Capella of St. Petersburg, concertmaster of the oboe group. He took part in the action “Day of Russia in the World”, performing with the orchestra in Beijing (2015) and Minsk (2016). An important stage in the musician’s career was the joint project of the Capella of St. Petersburg with the German Charitable Foundation Harts, within the framework of which the St. Petersburg musicians had the opportunity to conduct joint rehearsals and concerts, as well as master classes with leading German musicians and teachers.
