Pham Tien Long

Was born in 1994 in St. Petersburg. He began to study music at the age of six. In 2001 he entered the Children’s Art School No. 4 (class of T. G. Amosova), from which he graduated in 2011. At the same time, in 2007—2011, he studied at the GOU SOSH No. 8 “Music”. In 2011 he entered the St. Petersburg Musical College named after I. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of T. D. Prasnikova), in 2015 – at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Rimsky-Korsakov (class of Associate Professor A.N. Andreeva).

Pham Tien Long is a laureate and diploma recipient of international, all-Russian and interregional competitions and festivals, including: International Competition for Young Performers Michael Striharzh (diploma-holder, Lviv, 2005), II and IV International Music and Art Festival “Paint the World with Sounds” (I prize in the nomination “family ensemble” together with an older sister, St. Petersburg, 2006 and 2008), XV-XVII Open competition-festival of children’s musical creativity named after D. D. Shostakovich (1st prize in the nomination “ensemble performance”, St. Petersburg, 2006 and 2008), XXIV competition named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov (III prize, Tikhvin, 2008), All-Russian open competition for young performers (II prize, St. Petersburg, 2006), First open competition “Young soloist” (II prize, St. Petersburg, 2010), International Competition “Christmas Assemblies” (II prize, St. Petersburg, 2014).

Orchestral practice in the big symphony orchestra began in 2012 in the Youth Symphony Orchestra. A.R. Paulavichius under the direction of A.N.Vasiliev.
