Choir and Capella Symphony Orchestra

The Academic Chapel is a truly unique place. In this historic building, two groups of the highest level coexist: the Choir and the Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladislav and Alexander Chernushenko. Both the choir and the orchestra have a whole galaxy of bright soloists, which allows the Capella to delight listeners from year to year with large-scale pieces, the best examples of sacred and secular music.

The classics in the second season ticket will be presented by Mozart’s Requiem and Orff’s cantata “Carmina Burana”. The Capella stage will feature works by Russian composers, without which it is impossible to imagine the music of the 20th century: The Poem to the Memory of Sergei Yesenin and The Blizzard by Sviridov, the oratorio suite from the opera Virineya by Slonimsky and the vocal and poetic symphony Pushkin by Andrei Petrov.
