In 2011 he graduated from the St. Rimsky-Korsakov in the viola class (teacher – E.A. Brodotsky). In 2011—2016. studied at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of E. A. Brodotsky). Passed an assistant-trainee in the viola class with the Honored Artist of Russia, Professor V.I.Stopichev.
In 2012 he became a laureate of the II International Competition. S. I. Savshinsky (I degree diploma) and the international competition “Christmas Musical Assemblies” (grand prix), in 2016 he received a II degree diploma, participating in the VII International Competition. S.I.Savshinsky.
In 2016, Alexey Andreev played with the Divertissement Chamber Orchestra under the baton of the Honored Artist of Russia I. V. Ioff. Since 2016, he has been an artist of the St. Petersburg Capella Symphony Orchestra, as well as a soloist of the VivaMuse St. Petersburg Capella ensemble. Performs at the venues of St. Petersburg: in the Big and Small Halls of the Philharmonic, the Small Hall of the Conservatory, the House of Scientists. M. Gorky, the Russian National Library, the Union of Composers, the Kochneva House, the I. Brodsky Museum-Apartment, the Jaani Kirik Concert Hall, etc.
