Vladimir Pogoretsky

Artist of the Capella Symphony Orchestra since 2008. Graduated from the Special Music School at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov (class of T. D. Prasnikova) and the St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Professor A. M. Kazarina). At present, he is a post-graduate student at the Berne School of Music (class of Professor B. Nizel).

From 2011 to the present – concertmaster of the St. Petersburg Capella Symphony Orchestra. In 2008—2011. He was the concertmaster of the international youth orchestra Baltic Youth Philharmonic (Germany), in 2012-2018. – concertmaster of the Mikhailovsky Theater Orchestra. Artistic director of the Piano Trio Fest Chamber Music Festival and the NevaArte Trio Piano Trio.

With the Capella Symphony Orchestra, as well as with other ensembles, he successfully performed at such venues as the Musikverein, Concertgebouw, Tokyo Opera City, Danish Radio Concert Hall, Konzerthaus (Berlin), London Coliseum, Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Bolshoi Theater of Russia, and also in concert halls in Rotterdam, The Hague, Milan, Stockholm and other cities of the world.

As a soloist he was invited by the Mikhailovsky Theater to perform the premiere of the play directed by Nacho Duato “Versatility. Forms of Silence and Emptiness “to music by JS Bach. With this performance, he successfully toured England with the troupe.

Has performed on the same stage with such famous musicians as Vladislav Chernushenko, Alexander Chernushenko, Maris Jansons, Mikhail Tatarnikov, Christian Jarvi, Neeme Jarvi, Vladimir Jurowski, Dmitry Jurowski, Vladimir Ashkenazi, Vasily Petrenko, Wolfgang Emmanuel Schmidt, Boris Andrianov, Alexander R Peter Bruns, Sergey Dogadin, Sergey Levitin, Arkady Shilkloper, Gregor Witt and many others.

As a concertmaster of the orchestra he took part in the Usedom Music Festival in Germany, the Savonlinna Opera Festival in Finland, and has repeatedly participated in the Golden Mask festival.
